Aria Lord is the daughter of the Overlord. She lives her life like any other citizen of Ninjago, except for being the princess of darkness. Aria is the purple ninja. Her training was going great until her sensei decided to get together a team of ninja. The other Ninja become her family. They discover the green ninja is Lloyd and defend Ninjago the best they can. She learns everyone can choose their destiny and decide who they want to be. And she's gotta admit, Lloyd's kinda cute. The Ninja defeated the Overlord and working as teachers while Lloyd flew around accepting awards and stuff. The Overlord has returned, he wants Lloyd's power, but he also wants something else, his daughter. The ninjas escape and hide out at the monestary. The ninjas asked Garmadon about what the Overlord wanted. Garmadon said it was time they learned the story of the Overlord's greatest weapons, Garmadon tells them the story of Aria.

She's always been there but they never noticed her. The ninja's find Garmadons journal from when he was on the dark island and find some very interesting entries. Some of the entries mention a girl on the island. One single entry is on everyone's mind and start to question everything. The ninja's decide to journey back to the island to uncover the mystery of the secret girl. Lloyd has to make some very hard choices what will he choose.

Sequal to Lloyd's Golden Twin Aria and Lloyd were separated from the explosion in the park, after 2 weeks Lloyd couldn't find her Sensei revealed that they must have taken her to the demon realm also known as the Underworld. Now the ninja's start their journey into the Underworld to save Aria.....
