Sodapop Curtis never out much notice into the DX's owner daughter. She was the DX's cashier. She never talked to the greaser boys because she was a SOC. After Sodapop lost Sandy he thought he would never find love again. After Melly lost someone she has been too stubborn to even see any boys. Before Sodapop always thought of her as stuck up but one accident that includes the both of them might just change their thoughts on each other. They might be just what they need for each other.

Izzy would be sleeping but then would end up getting woken up, by someone yelling at there parents or her dad yelling for her to go buy him more beer. So in her opinion she would laugh to herself, and do as she was told, or listen to the argument that was going down a few trailers down. Izzy wasn't happy but she wasn't depressed- well she had her moments. Until the incident.
