Ezra grew taller (he grew taller than Ava), Kyle became more muscular, Ava got rid of her braces and Maudie's hair grew longer. Maudie stayed in their hometown and taught little kids how to solve mysteries and also works in the office. Ezra went to Singapore to work. Kyle went to the US to fulfill his soccer dreams. Ava is a party planner that plans big events in the US. As you can see, they went their separate ways. Suddenly, one day, they all meet again unexpectedly. They had a small catch up and talked about their problems and their reasons why they came back. As Maudie and Ezra try to solve their problems. They realized that the other has changed... In a good way. The 4 adults express and act like youths as they go through life and think of what it was like when they were younger. The fact that they still act like immature teens at times really shows that even when their adults, their children at heart. This story is basically about the Inbestigators, as adults, Growing up and dealing with adult problems and feelings. Even past traumas. It is MAINLY a romance fanfic though.
