Fifteen years ago Hybrids were given rights. Now a danger has overtaken the city. An illness turning random citizens into villains and killing them once they have carried out their deeds. Grian is a collage professor who teaches structure analysis. He lives in a world made up of humans and creatures known as Mutants. As a mutant himself, Grian, in his free time, works for Nexus, an organization created by another Avian like himself mainly known as the "Mockingbird". To summarize all that - he's a superhero with wings. It isn't until he finds a young Avian who begins to tell about the world's greatest secret: Who - or what specifically is behind the mobs that roam around the Overworld everyday? Scar has himself a bit of a hero life as well, running around as the Emerald Soldier known as Hotguy.
