Eventually he couldn't take it and started cutting, taking drugs, getting mindlessly drunk and street fighting illegally with his muggle friends. (They obviously don't know about magic but do know about his home life). This is set from the summer before fifth year onwards. Let's see if his friends can save him before he's too far gone.

After a surprise creature inheritance Harry Potter learns of the truth of the supposed light side. Harry learns the truth of what Dumbledore hoped to do to the wizarding world, especially Harry. Ever since the end of second year Harry regretted choosing Gryffindor and being the chosen One.
