Nothing can change the fact that Valentina Rubio and Derek Rubin are high school rivals. The two are opposites in every way but because their last names are next to each other alphabetically, it forces them to be in close proximity. Whether it's assigned seats or group projects, they always get stuck together and every interaction turns into another competition. Meanwhile the only place Valentina can escape to is her late night convos with a boy she's never met. As feelings grow through shared interests and playful banter, Valentina never imagines that the comforting stranger and her sworn enemy would turn out to be the same person.
