"Why, it's the institute, of course." ~~~ The Polaris Institute of Engineering and Science is not what it seems to be. On the outside, it looks like a normal institute. Only its employees know what's actually going on. There are stories about monsters, ones that could cause the destruction of the Earth if given enough power. They cause the earthquakes, volcano eruptions, tsunamis, all to try and rid the Earth of the human race. Where do they live? On the other side of the crust. The institute needs help. They've collected a group of twelve teenagers from all over the world, promising them a bright future in the areas of engineering and science. The thing is, they don't know what they're really up against. All while this happens, the monsters only get stronger and stronger...
