Kate Lee, 20 years old, a nursing major at Northern Georgia University, has been dating Cameron Davis, also 20 for a few years now, 4 to be exact. The two have been off and on since high school in Jefferson, GA. When Kate comes home for summer break, they fight constantly and one night, Cameron takes it too far at a packed bar. Kate leaves without thinking anyone had seen their dispute. But, she was wrong. One man did. Enter Brantley Gilbert, just released from prison after 5 years for assault and battery with bodily injury. He was out at the bar with his friends, celebrating said release from prison.
