However, just as a second world war was on the horizon, an enormous magical gate opened in Berlin. From this gate poured an army of armor-clad warriors and mythical monsters from another dimension, led by a man who proclaimed the creation of the "New Arthurian Province." Although the attack was successfully repelled, the gateway - dubbed the "Gate of Dimensions" - remained in Berlin. Fearing further assaults, the Kaiser mobilized a massive army composed of tanks, infantry, armored dogs, and supersoldiers to explore the other side of the gateway. What they discovered was a world filled with magic, abundant natural resources, and otherworldly forces.

They save animals especially at night and undercover, leaving some cops to 'finish' their cases. Anne Foxx has been working for the ZSO for a while and, one night, was caught by Nick and Judy.
