Maurice is known for having a kind heart and always helping the kingdom, always keeping his mask on, afraid to reveal his identity. The commander decides to assign Shadow and hires Sonic to work together and get closer to Maurice and his family. Sonic must hide his true identity from Shadow and find out who paid G.U.N.
