So, he sets out to find a partner with an unbiased opinion; an ally with no personal vendettas to delay the creation of the new world; a judge. But, alongside his hatred for his past tormentors, something else is growing inside him. Something he doesn't understand. Viktor had mastered the art of goodbyes. He never took too much time, but he also never rushed through the moment. He wasn't indifferent, and always expressed his emotions out loud. Yet, he wasn't too cheesy or cliché with his words and avoided exaggerated displays of affection. For Viktor, goodbyes were about leaving his loved ones with genuine and beautiful smiles. Jayce was the type to miss people really easily. And Intensely. He was the type of friend who would sprint down the corridors, yelling exuberantly when he saw his friends after a summer break.
