"Where have you been?" He asked her calmly but sternly Silence. She said nothing. "I'm asking you," he repeated, louder now-. She still didn't answer, but turned to leave, the sting of disappointment gripping her throat. But before she could take a step, he grabbed her wrist. "Where do you think you're going?" he snapped, voice taut with frustration. In one swift motion, he pulled her back and pinned her gently but firmly against the wall. The air crackled around them. "Why are you behaving like this?" he demanded, his eyes boring into hers. "Leave me!" she shot back, her voice sharp, cracking. "What's wrong with you?"His patience snapped. "why!" he shouted. "You've been avoiding me, shutting me out, walking around like a ghost! When I ask you-you push me away! Why, Sona? What did I do?" Her chest heaved. Tears welled in her eyes. His grip loosened slightly, but his gaze never faltered. "You want to know?" she hissed, eyes wild with pain. "You really want to know what's wrong with me?" "Yes!" he shouted back, breathless, helpless. She shoved him back. "I love you, Adharv sir !" Her voice echoed like thunder through the room. "That's what's wrong with me. That's what's killing me."she run away from there

"Z-Zayd p-please, n-nahi." That's all she could manage to say. "Main janta hoon aap darr rahi hain," he said, his voice breaking just a little, "Aur main is darr ki wajah banna nahi chahta. Lekin main kab se iss raat ka intezaar kar raha tha,jab aap meri ho jayengi." When his face came dangerously close, Noor panicked. Her hands quickly rose to his chest, trying to push him back. "Z-Zayd, P-please chodhiye hume, a-aisa mat kijiye" she pleaded, turning her face away, voice low. But Zayd was too far gone. His hand moved to her cheek, gently turning her face back toward him. His thumb brushed her jawline, tender but possessive. "Noor," he murmured, his lips brushing close to hers now, "Bas ek baar," Before she could form another word, before her breath could catch, his mouth was on hers, forceful and demanding. Noor froze. Her fists pushed weakly at his chest. She tried pushing, clawing, muffled screaming, trying to fight him off, but he didn't budge.Tears spilled freely down her cheeks, trailing over their locked lips. Soft, broken sobs shook through her.But he didn't stop. He felt the salt of her tears between their mouths, yet it only made his kiss fiercer, more desperate. Like something inside him snapped. Her pain, her trembling,he felt it all. Still, he couldn't let go.He had waited too long, yearned too deep. Finally, after eternity, He pulled back just enough to see her face. Tears. So many of them. Streaming freely, glistening against the dim light. Her eyes were squeezed shut, her lips red and swollen, trembling, not from desire but fear. He cupped her face as she lay there, not moving an inch. "Noor meri baat suniye, Miyan biwi ke darmiyaan ye sab normal hota hai, izhar e mohabbat ka ek tareeka," "P-Please, H-Hume darr l-lag raha h-hai, C-Chodh dijiye"

-:𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃:- -This book moves a bit faster than my usual pace. Some events might feel slightly fast-forwarded, but I've done that to keep the essence tight, the emotions raw, and the story impactful without unnecessary dragging. . . He exhaled, running a hand through his hair. "Roop, shaadi kisi majboori mein nahi ki jati." (Marriage isn't something that should happen out of compulsion.) A bitter smile tugged at my lips. "Yahi toh farq hai tumhari aur meri zindagi mein, Anirudh. Tumhare paas choice hai, mere paas nahi." (That's the difference between your life and mine, Anirudh. You have a choice. I don't.) His expression darkened. "Main tumhari family se baat karunga-" "Nahi!" I cut him off, my voice sharp with desperation. "You won't understand. You've never seen helplessness, Anirudh. You don't know that when a girl has no options, she only looks for survival." A strange silence stretched between us, thick with unspoken pain. Anirudh sighed and leaned back against the bench, his fingers tapping against his knee. "You're telling me you'd marry any stranger just because you have no other way out?" I stiffened. "You're not a stranger." His lips quirked up, almost amused. "Until a day ago, I was." I clenched my fists. "I don't care who you are. I just need to accept this match, or the other option will destroy me." Anirudh fell silent, his gaze steady on me. The playfulness in his eyes faded, replaced by something more intense, more thoughtful. Finally, he asked, "And what if I tell you that I don't want to marry you either?"

She had no one left to talk to. So she talked to him - a man who would never reply. For five years, Vaanika Subramaniam poured her soul into the DMs of a stranger. Not for attention. Not for love. Just to survive. To feel like someone, somewhere, might be listening. To the grief clawing at her chest. To the rage of growing up in a house that fed on silence. To the pain of being a girl the world tried to break - gently, slowly, and then all at once. That stranger? Ekaansh Vashisth. Actor. Icon. Lie. India's most beloved face - with a smile curated to perfection and eyes that forgot how to feel. At 34, he's drowning under fame, betrayal, and the unbearable noise of being wanted by everyone but loved by no one. Until one night - In the haze of heartbreak and insomnia - He opens his DMs. And finds 20,000 messages. From her. Messages that read like confessions. Like poetry. Like someone saw him without ever looking. And for the first time in years - he listens. While he is finally heard. What begins as curiosity becomes obsession. Because her whispers sound like home. Because she was unraveling - and he was the thread she didn't know she was clinging to. - This is not a love story. This is two broken people whispering into the void - and somehow, finding each other there. An age-gap slow burn. A story of unseen love, aching silence, and the way two strangers can unknowingly become each other's lifeline.

#trending 1 on 17-10-25 (#book-2 of PAKHI ) PROLOGUE :- I've seen the love that burned its own home to ashes. I've seen him drown himself in alcohol-not for pleasure, not for addiction-but to escape her. To blur the edges of the memories that refused to fade. Her presence haunts him like a ghost he can't outrun. And his heart... I've seen it clench, tremble, shatter. Over and over again. I was there when he fell to his knees for her. I've witnessed every single change in him-because of her. She didn't just love a monster... she changed him. She turned the devil into a man. And yet- She left. Left him with nothing but misunderstandings and silence. And now, their lives have once again dived into the same ocean they once tried to swim across together- An ocean full of hate, betrayal, ruthlessness. New entries are coming-people who will twist their fate. Old secrets are still buried, hidden faces moving the pieces behind the destruction I'm standing in the middle of. He once burned a country when he said he hated her. And she? She stood still. Took everything he threw at her. The pain. The humiliation. The disrespect. Like she was born to carry it. But just think. Just think for a moment. Just for a fucking moment- What happens... when they love each other again? What happens when the misunderstandings clear, when the pain turns to passion, when the hate turns into something softer, deeper, dangerous? What happens when he claims her again? If hate made him burn the world- What the hell will love make him do?

His fingers trailed along her cheek. "Say it," Dhruvay murmured, voice raw with longing. "Say you missed me, wife." Roopa's eyes dropped to his wrapped hand again, the way it trembled slightly, the way he'd covered it with something that belonged to her instead of getting treated properly. Her throat tightened. "You bled, fought, got yourself hurt," she whispered shakily, eyes glossing with something unspoken. "And came all this way... for this?" His lips curled, amused, but that glint in his eyes darkened. "Tch. That mouth... I missed that too." She placed her palm on his chest, trembling fingers pressing against the thudding heart beneath. Not to push him away. But to feel him. To ground herself. To steady her pulse that threatened to race away. "If I say I missed you," she whispered, her voice laced with fear and fury, "what would you do?" "I'd never let you leave again," he said without a blink. "Not even to breathe." Tears burned her eyes, but she swallowed them. "And if I don't?" His gaze darkened. The smile faded like smoke vanishing in wind. "Then I'll still keep you," he said coldly. "But you'll bleed with me, wife... until you understand you were never meant to run." A gasp caught in her throat. He meant every word. Every scar on him was a sentence for her. "You're reckless," she whispered, "you terrify me." His expression flickered into something possessive, before he smiled again. A wicked, burning smile. "Good. Then maybe you'll stop running." His other hand slided beneath the hem of her top, resting possessively on her waist. "Now be a good girl, Roopa," he whispered, "and say you missed me." ~~❉~~ A forced marriage. A stolen past. And a love she was never meant to feel. When the truth comes out, will her heart betray her pride? Curious to know what happens next? Start reading DhRupa now.
