(Y/n) (L/n) has been on the run her whole life. Where she is from, she is considered a witch. Gondor would not welcome her any longer. She was a nuisance to society. Cast aside, she runs from her troubles into the adventure she never thought she needed. And there, she meets someone who accepts her as she is. I do not own any of these characters except (Y/n). Enmira is a half elven skin changer, that went through a lot in her early years. After an encounter with Gandalf, she sees the company that she needs to protect and the, King Under the Mountain, makes her skin crawl. The journey has barely begun and she's already having strange feelings for the King. She doesn't understand what this pull means and Thorin seems to be in the same boat. But unlike her, he actually knows what's going on and is doing his best to ignore it. But a skin changer only has one mate in their lifetime and it's rare for a Dwarf to find their One. So when that true love is found, it's dangerous to avoid it.

Now being a hunted by an Orc pack, the Dwarves of Erebor, the blacksmith, and their burglar are on the run. Time is running out as they are faced with challenges along the way and the closer they come to the mountain the more Thorin begins to realize he's no longer seeing the Half-breed as an asset. The Lonely Mountain has finally been reclaimed, but the people of Lake-Town suffered at the flames of the dragon.
