A young Aaron and Emily start to see each other in secret to hide from Emily's mom. But, right when Emily is about to see him for the last time before heading off to Yale, things take a sharp turn. Years later, they run into each other again when Aaron is being questioned on his job performance by Strauss. Erin Strauss brought in the best replacement she can think of, Emily Prentiss.

FBI Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner has been looking for a new replacement for Elle Greenaway after a questionable shooting took place. As soon as he sets his eyes on Emily Prentiss, he knows he cannot lose her. Every chapter is titled quoting a lyric from the song 'Wicked Game' by Chris Isaak. (I agree it is Ross & Rachels song but it is so fitting for Hotchniss). Jack Hotchner doesn't exist in this story.

A new girl comes into his world, it happens to be a coincidence she moves in across the street from his happy little home area. Well happy is a big word, considering things have been completely since his wife left behind both Aaron Hotchner and his son Jack when she was brutally murdered on a cold case, in which the killer, The reaper got away. Jack was only a baby when this happened, making things even more hard for Aaron. Aaron shows no emotion toward this stranger however, not wanting anything to do with her, but that becomes an issue when she ends up working at the BAU, meeting all of his friends and becoming friends with them. Another issue, he's falling for her. And she is for him.

She desperately needs a date for a party. He needs an excuse in order to decline the date his brother has set up for him. What could possibly go wrong? [Set in season 7; Emily returned from Paris a while ago.]

Hotchniss story told through Taylor Swift's songs from their early days to their present starting from their childhood (Seven) to them meeting again when hotch start working for Emily's mother (cowboy like me) and to their present which is them meeting again at the BAU (the 1) all of the songs I'll be using are from folklore and evermore. feel free to give your opinion or correct about any spelling mistakes or misinformation English is not my first language and CM timeline is frustrating:)
