The earth crunched beneath my feet, the harsh, cold wind biting my face as I ran through the dense forest. It was closing in on me. I could sense it. Its warm breath against the back of my neck, its footsteps thundering through the trees, its feral snarls and snapping jaws. But it was just a dream. A night terror that has haunted me for the past few months. Or was it... A mysterious howl echoes through the woods. A beast, calling her closer. Why her? Why would it want her?

In a world divided by war and power, the struggle for freedom and equality unfolds across vast kingdoms. 'Beneath the War-Torn Skies' is a collection of short stories set in a land where diverse species clash under the banner of oppression, where fae, elven and human warriors fight side by side, and where the fight for justice is bathed in blood and shadow. Each tale follows brave warriors through intense battles and moments of heroism that ignite the spirit of resistance. From the battle-scarred cliffs of Hollow Ridge to the shadowy depths of Vario's strongholds, these stories offer a glimpse into the sacrifices and struggles that define a war that will not end until freedom is claimed. Prytha is a world in which many species live together under the protection of King Patorius. Patorius believes in equality for all species, which is a belief that puts him at odds with fae King Xandex of Vario. Patorius is fighting against Xandex for the freedom of the humans. Vario is known to be a place of beauty and suffering. Their malicious fae king, Xandex, revels in the suffering of humans. Xandex has a mission to destroy Prytha's king, Patorius, and take his human subjects for himself. Vario is a place of grandeur and wealth that comes from the human slave trade. Astacyre is a large, powerful kingdom ruled by elven queen, Evelyn. They're allied with Prytha in the fight against human slavery. Astacyre provides warriors, weapons, and supplies to Prytha to aid their battle against Vario. Exania is a place of great wealth, where its fae and elven inhabitants live in great luxury. They enjoy the profits made by their human slaves who live in poverty due to their oppressive fae king, Azrin, who believes in using humans for sport and work. He is allied with King Xandex against Prytha's ideals of equality. Ialia is a place of magic and healing. It's home to many peaceful groups of people who use their resources to help those in need. They're allied with Prytha as well.

What began as a territorial conflict spiraled into a years-long war-fought across shattered cities, burning forests, and broken families. Loyalties were tested. Lines blurred. Heroes rose in silence, not for recognition, but because someone had to. And in the middle of it all... a soldier and a prisoner. This is not the story of kings and queens. This is the story of two people caught on opposite sides of a war. In a world torn apart by war, Lysana Laurent is little more than a pawn. The daughter of a powerful rebel general, she has spent her life in the shadow of battles she never fought-until the war crashes through her doorstep. Kidnapped from her quiet village, Lysana awakens in a cold, dark cell, bound and helpless, with only the scent of blood and decay to remind her of the horrors that brought her here. Her captor is a soldier with a ruthless reputation, sharp wit, and a smirk that spells danger. A man known for his cruelty. A man who serves under General Kael, the very enemy her father has spent years fighting. Lysana is terrified. She knows what happens to prisoners of war, and Ryder's taunts only fuel the fear curling in her stomach. Her father will not come for her. No one will. Lysana must survive on her own, trapped in the hands of a man who seems to thrive on fear, a man who holds her fate in his hands with an infuriating smirk. As hope dwindles, she is forced to find hope from unexpected sources... or break in the process.

'He was a vampire, but not the monster of legend. His eyes, a deep shade of green, held a sadness that spoke of centuries of solitude. He didn't crave the screams of his prey or the thrill of the hunt; he simply needed to survive.'

Currently available in paper form on Amazon ! "Why do you do that? Why do you dress like that? Why can't you be like any other girl?" Elijah asked Rachel with curiosity, the girl who was now hugging her books protectively as she looked at her long grey dress she loved so much. "What?" Rachel asked, confused. She couldn't understand why Elijah Bornman, the boy who made everyone crave for his attention, was talking to her. "You heard me." He said, his cold blue eyes never leaving her warm chocolate ones. And with a deep breath, Rachel replied, her voice confident: "Because I am not ashamed of the Gospel."
