˙⋆✮ 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅. ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───── "Bataiye, kon hai hum aapke?" she cried, broken. In two strides he reached her, grabbed her arm, and turned her around sharply, pulling her into his arms. His arms locked around her trembling body as if he'd never let her go. "Jaan ho tum meri," He whispered harshly against her hair, hugging her tighter as she wept into his chest. *************** Three fucking years since she left. And yet, it feels like yesterday. I didn't stop her. I watched her pack. Silent. Cold. Pretending like I didn't care. Like her walking out of the door wasn't tearing something apart inside me. Maybe I thought if I didn't beg, if I didn't plead, I'd come off stronger. But all I did was let the only woman I ever loved slip through my fingers. And every goddamn day since, I've been living with that choice.

"Ye ishq nahi aasan... ek aag ka dariya hai," she said softly, her gaze locked on his face. The night was silent around them, as if the world had paused just to listen. A faint, fragile smile touched her lips, while her eyes glistened with emotions she couldn't hold back-fear, love, and surrender all tangled together. "Agar sangini Aap rahogi," he replied, his voice calm yet resolute, as he lifted both his hands and gently cupped her cheeks, "toh is ssg ke dariye ko bhi paar kar hsm sath par kar lenge" His thumbs brushed away the moisture gathering near her eyes. Slowly, he leaned forward and pressed a tender kiss on her forehead-protective. "Ek baat kahein?" she asked hesitantly, her fingers curling into his shirt as if she needed his presence to stay steady. He nodded, pulling her just a little closer, silently telling her that she could say anything to him. "Aaj raat... hum aapke hona chahte hain, Rans ji. har tareeke se," she whispered, her voice trembling, her heart racing wildly against her ribs. The words left her lips like a confession. She took a small step forward, closing the distance between them, and placed a soft, lingering kiss on his lips-timid, yet full of longing. "Are you sure?" he asked quietly, his arms sliding around her waist, drawing her into the safety of his embrace. His forehead rested against hers, giving her space to breathe, to decide. "More than sure," she whispered back against his lips, her breath warm...

Two strangers. One arranged marriage. And a love that arrived slowly... softly... in gestures, in silences, and in moments no one else ever noticed. Shivika Verma has always lived just a little behind the curtain-compared, overlooked, unseen. Prerit Sabbarwal has always carried the weight of being the eldest-responsible, ambitious, expected to never falter. When their families arranged their marriage, neither felt ready. But life has a quiet way of teaching that love isn't loud or dramatic... it's tender, unhurried, and real. They were strangers bound by promise, not choice. Yet in the small, everyday moments-- the shared silence, the hesitant glances, the warmth of eachother... something unspoken began to bloom. Some love stories ignite with sparks. Theirs began with a quiet that pulled them closer... and kept them there. Dedicated: To every girl who craves a guy who will baby her softly- who will listen, hold, cherish... and love her gently, without asking her to be anything more than herself.
