This was a requested plot where Buck is in a abusive relationship and after being held captive for five years finally escapes. His parents never cared about him, his parents didn't even check to see what they were singing for their child. Buck leaves a letter at the hospital telling Maddie that he needs to take some time to find himself and he loves her after packing his bag in the middle of the night and heading off to the Navy he never expected to find his people. Steve Mcgarrett knew his team would be nervous about his newest member but seeing a child...the youngest person in history come across a file his heart stopped knowing he needed to get this kid. It just says he's under 18 so he thinks that Evan Buckley is 17 boy his heart breaks seeing this kid with scores that match and beat his.
