'Marry in haste, and repent at leisure.' May knows all about that. Stuck in a small Welsh town in 1964, May's life couldn't be more different to the life of her favourite Beatle, George Harrison. But one chance encounter and that is all that is set to change... I originally wrote this short story in 2004. It could do with a little re-write I think, (which I may do one day!) and it's a bit rough round the edges, so any feedback would be gratefully received! (As such it's not quite the same quality as my other stories, but it's here for prosperity!) Thanks for reading! Miss O'Dell xx © Miss O'Dell, written in 2004. This is a work of fiction. As such, it should not be read as a factual account of events or biography. While many characters bear the names of actual people they & their actions have been imagined by me, the author, and posted here for entertainment purposes only.

[Completed] [18+] It's summer, 1979 when Michael Jackson turns 21, releases "Off the Wall," and meets his first love. ~*~*~ Nicole: You're in hotels a lot, huh? Michael: Yes. Most would pause to wonder how often is "a lot," but Michael didn't. He answered very matter-of-factly. Nicole could relate to the feeling of loneliness, being the only child of two hard-working parents. She watched his hands continue to play on the table, now reaching for the dish of sugar packets. He pulled out two, tipping them together like a tippee. Then mirrored the motion with two more. Nicole: You seem like a lonely person... I am too. She wasn't sure what propelled the words. Instantly Nicole felt the urge to apologize. Still pinching the sugar, Michael's eyes drifted up to hers, meeting for a second before looking away again. There was something about this stranger, maybe the softness in his bashful smile, that Nicole felt like she could trust. And if not, oh well, she'd never see him again anyway. Michael: Then we should be friends. We can be lonely together. ~*~*~ 🌻 This is a love story with a slow build. I promise, it's worth the wait! ⭐ Winner of the 2022 Michael Jackson FanFiction Awards for "Best Off the Wall Era FanFic" Highest Ranking: #5 in michaeljackson; #1 in michaeljacksonfanfiction; #1 in kingofpop, #1 in icon, #9 in fandom 🎤Inspired by true events in the life of Michael Jackson... but largely fictional.

George ran a hand through his hair in distress as she walked away from him, her head held high. "What do I have to do to make you admit you love me?" George's voice cracked as he called out to her. Samantha stopped in her tracks and froze for a moment. Then, she turned on her heel. Her face was set in a hard scowl. Her anger at him had only grown from his sudden and unexpected comment. "Is that what you want me to say? You want me to admit it?" "For Christ's sake yes!" George exclaimed. "Fine!" She threw her hands up into the air in exasperation. "You win, George!" Samantha laughed incredulously. "I've always loved you-you -you goddamn idiot." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Samantha Clarke moved from America to Liverpool in 1956 at fourteen years old and met four lads who were destined to become one of the most famous bands in history. George Harrison bumped into his friend Paul and a random redhead girl on his walk home from school on a cloudy day in 1957. For both of them, there was a long and winding road ahead. Beatles fan fiction. "Never in my mind have I doubted how I feel for George. I've loved him for so long I can't remember when I didn't. I can't remember the moment I fell in love with him. I just always have loved him... But sometimes, love isn't enough." When Hannah and her sister, Minnie meet the members of a rock and roll group, their lives change. Hannah quickly falls for the young guitarist, George, but things aren't as simple as they appear. Hannah and Minnie have to leave Liverpool, they have to run away from home, but leaving George behind seems unthinkable. Before Hannah and Minnie can put their plan into action, the Silver Beatles get a gig in Germany - a three month engagement in Hamburg. Using the opportunity to 'visit' the boys in Hamburg, Hannah and Minnie finally escape Liverpool all together but when it transpires George will have to go home early, Hannah can't go home with him. And she can't explain why. Saying goodbye to George breaks Hannah's heart.
