A side-story/prequel to my story 'When the Light Meets the Dark'. In this story, we follow three children: Jack, Michael, and Peter. This story starts almost a decade before Light Meets Dark (2015) and ends as Jack prepares to move to Crittersburg (where Light Meets Dark takes place (December 2024)). This story will have 8 chapters and a 9th being the epilogue. Chapters will have random word lengths, and most will be short as this story is just giving a look at how Jack and his siblings grew up and might explain things that you see in Light Meets Dark.
