We are dealing with real people and real emotions." - Gallifreyan Buccaneer ★★★★★ "This is a genre that has been done in a million different ways for a million different readers, and one is hard-pressed to find a book that is a little different or offers something new. This is not your average book. It's not a book about the new boy in town. It's also not a book about a teen becoming closer to their parents. It's most definitely not a book about a world where flaws are widely accepted. This is a book about a society that has finally gone backwards. One where people who have never found a cure, have no choice but to help save their kind. The question is though, is it sane? Justus is a boy who can't control his thoughts. Alice is a girl who doesn't view the world as it appears. Cora is a girl with half a face, and Blake is a boy who never walks alone. All four of these people are different from many others; they don't seem think it is sane at all. Wonder along with them while they follow a man whom they all would have ran from in the past. In a place where it could only be best described as a freak show; or maybe even a circus.
