"... The Chromatics aren't who they say they are, Sabre..." One of the villains, Nightmare Steve told the frightened, yet on guard, non-Steve. "Sabre, they're corrupt. They have been lying for as long as we can remember.." A "villain" who Sabre knew was Void, took a few steps forward. "Do you know how I become Void?" He motioned to all of himself. Sabre the leader of the code jumpers, finds old ruined books of the past. It's his job to translate these books in secret at the same time fighting to protect the Steves. What secrets are hidden in these old languages and how will the young leader react to what the past has to offer. The past has tales long forgotten, by all those who live. With legends of old, all to guide those who live in the future. As the struggle of the steves slowly leaks into the struggle of the Code Jumpers.

During the Rainbow Kingdom 'era', the darkness just stop attacking for some time. Perhaps around a week. When they return, they seem wary of the kingdom. Something seems off, and Sabre is determined to get to the bottom of it. The characters do NOT belong to me! All belong to their original creator, FavreMySabre on Youtube! This is a daily writing project! I suck at writing daily but I will try to! :D anyways super excited!

It's a race against time (not the Steve) as a new enemy appears that is neither Human, Player or Steve. The Chromatic Steves have to find out how to stop this new enemy like their ancestors did long ago. Meanwhile, Sabre is trying to hide the fact that no matter how much sleep he's been getting, he has been feeling drained as of late. He just had to continue on until this slump passes, that's all. Of course, with all his friends constantly checking in on him, and the fact he lives with Time, it might be easier said than done. - In an attempt to win against the Chromatic Steves and Sabre, Void unleashes a being that is not Human, Player, or Steve. A parasitic creature that chooses a person to slowly leach energy from until their demise. Now free from its confines and with a new partner to spread the darkness around, it finds a source of energy to leach from. The odd one out in a world full of Steves. - Lucas just wanted a normal life. That plan was flipped on his head as several things start to go wrong. First Sabre, his best friend, goes missing and doesn't come back. Then it's discovered that Players are being reborn once more and Lucas was one of the lucky few. Of course that would mean something if he didn't go into the woods and was somehow brought to a new world. What the hell are Steves, this so called Darkness, and why do some of them keep saying something about 'another human'? How do they know Sabre's name?!

He only has a lifepod from the Aurora for shelter, having dropped to the planet's surface inside it moments before the Aurora completely fell apart. Little does Sabre know, he's not the only intelligent life form on 4546B... in fact, far from it. Follow Sabre's journey through this strange alien planet, as he uncovers more and more secrets behind the history of the oceanic world he's fallen to. --------------------------------------- This AU is based off the game 'Subnautica'!
