In the alternate version of Beacon Hills, there is an unusual tradition. When one is in their Senior Year of High School, they have a choosing ceremony. During this, two people are chosen together. They're are chosen by either having natural chemistry, odd unspoken tension or even at random. The couple then are tied together for when they're at school and have to live with one another when at home for two months. This choosing initiation usually ends with the two being a couple, best friends or for some unlucky few they drift apart to never speak again. Whatever the outcome the two people will always be drawn to one another and have an unexplainable connection, the two are therefore Linked. Stiles Stilinski has the perfect high school life, he is popular, has a best friend for life, gets good grades and has a perfect girlfriend; Malia Tate is the Queen of Beacon Hills and runs the school socially. She is gorgeous and although only being in Junior Year has boys drooling after her. Her and Stiles have been dating for two years they're the ultimate power couple in school and are Beacon Hills 'sweethearts'. Lydia Martin is naturally gifted. She is incredibly intelligent and can solve round about any problem given to her. However she is not so good at making friends, she has one best friend Allison and they have been friends since 3rd grade. Lydia has never had a boyfriend but has had a crush on the same boy for most of her high school life. When this unlikely couple are chosen together, what will happen when one of them starts developing feelings but the other has different plans? Will the two ever be together?
