Bucky Barnes is the former Winter Soldier, recovering from seven decades of trauma. When he is brought to the compound by his best friend Steve, he meets Jade O'Hara. The pair form a quick friendship, but Jade's friendship isn't all that Bucky craves. The bond he shares with Jade transforms into a love that Bucky has never felt before, but his fears and insecurities keep him from confessing his feelings. Jade O'Hara is the doctor to the Avengers, best friends with Captain America, and...completely in love with Bucky Barnes. Jade spent most of her life as a loner, building up walls so thick that it took a superhero to knock them down. But there are some things that are better off left buried in the rubble. Things that Jade will soon be unable to hide from the new family she has become part of. When Jade's past comes crashing into her present, will she be able to confront her demons?
