It was almost a year now after the car accident between Winnie and Augustine. An accident that made their relationship much clearer. Transportation is rough for Rody, especially since he has to bike through the rain most of the summer and autumn. However, it seems he's gained some mercy from his boss, Vincent, who was usually a bit cold when it comes to being late and things like such. Every Valentine's Day, for the past ten years, Augustine has received an anonymous love letter from someone. At first they weren't really love letters, and were just normal Valentine's. But as time went on, they became real love letters. Each one was written with so much love and care, it made Augustine feel special.. He kept each and every letter, and hid them away In his attic. So no one else would see them. But while Winnie is visiting him to help clean, he ends up finding the letters, and his old habit of smoking is brought back.

Rody had always had his suspensions of Vince, but they were never confirmed until he stole his spare freezer key and snuck in after work. He found Vince right as he was killing someone, Rody watching as the life drained from their body. He wasn't scared, or really that phased, in fact he found it somewhat intriguing, and attractive. Rody learns that he has a secret bloodlust, and with it comes a partnership with Vince, that turns into something much more later on down the line.
