"No, please ... not again" she prayed. That tune. Soft. Familiar. Haunting. She turned slowly... her breath caught in her throat. There he was. Standing in the shadows, just beyond the emergency exit. "I'll follow you wherever you go" "No," she whispered. "No, no, no, shhh, Meera, calm down. It's just a hallucination. Just a hallucination. Just-" She broke into a run, blind and desperate, nearly tripping over her own feet. And crashed straight into something - or rather someone. IZRAEL'S FIAMA

(This is the sequel to my story, Six Years Too Long. You'll need to read that first to understand this one!) Six years after Minato Namikaze rose from the dead, Naruto's graduated the academy with a field of flowers in his mind and the best friends he could've ever asked for. Everything seems like it's going well... until it's not. Conspiracies within the village are keeping Minato on his toes, and Naruto's goal of world peace only seems to get further and further away from him as the Akatsuki stir and start to raise their heads. There are unknown enemies lurking around every corner, and it's up to Naruto and Kurama to stop them-- and who knows, maybe they'll have a little help when they do. (In the distance, the remnants of Uzu call, getting louder and louder each day. Naruto doesn't know what it means for him or for the rest of Team 7, but as the pull gets stronger and stronger, he has a feeling he's going to find out.) Or: Six years after the events of six years too long. (Cross posted on ao3)

The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him. Disoriented and confused, he does exactly what any father would do in this situation. He fights through the pain, gets up, and goes to find his son. He trudges through the pounding in his head and forces himself to move-- to go and find him, because that masked man was still out there, and Minato is willing to do anything to protect his little ball of sunshine. Needless to say, the blonde kage wasn't expecting so much time to have passed. Nor is he very impressed with the way the village has been treating his son all these years.

Cynical 15-year-old Akina Akunawa dies and wakes up reincarnated as Sakura Haruno, the least-liked character in the Naruto anime. Trapped in the body, Akina despises Sakura's short pink hair, lack of skill, and canon obsession with Sasuke Uchiha. Determined to survive the dangerous ninja world and rewrite a flawed destiny, Akina decides to keep quiet, feign modesty at the Academy, and train in secret. But how long can a cynical soul maintain the façade of a cheerful, naive child while secretly preparing for the fight of her life? Akina will prove that this 'trash' character is capable of more than obsession-she's capable of revolution. "The truly devastating thing about life is not the pain it inflicts, but the agonizing realization that the suffering is utterly pointless. There's no grand cosmic lesson, no divine reward for endurance. You simply take the hits until you don't, and the world moves on, oblivious. It's a tragedy without an audience, and frankly, a waste of a good theatrical cry." - Akina Akunawa. © All Rights Reserved

She stood, a smirk curling her lips, her gaze sharp enough to cut through steel. "You may command the world, Lucifer, but I know how to set that very world on fire." Lucifer's eyes darkened, a dangerous glint sparking in their depths. He stepped closer, his grip firm as he pulled her into the shadow of his power. "Then burn me, Fiore," he whispered, his voice like smoke and sin. "I'll worship the ashes."

She tried to glare, but the effect was ruined by her flushed cheeks. "I spent an hour getting ready-" "And I'll spend the next ten minutes undoing all that hard work," I promised darkly, enjoying how her breath hitched. "By the time we reach the top floor, everyone will know exactly what their boss has been up to." "You wouldn't dare," she whispered, but the spark in her eyes told me she wasn't entirely opposed to the idea. "Wouldn't I?" My thumb traced her lower lip. "Try me, princess. We still have fifteen floors to go..." Her attempt at looking scandalized was adorable. "You're enjoying this far too much." "Baby," I pressed closer, "you have no idea." My thumb traced her jawline. "Ten more floors to go. Want to see how undone I can make you look by then?" "Dev..." she tried again, those doe eyes looking up at me pleadingly. "Think about it... if you mess up my saree now, what will the staff think?" I couldn't help but laugh at her attempt at manipulation. "Nice try, princess." My fingers traced her collarbone. "But watching you try to sweet-talk your way out of this?" I leaned closer, "Only makes me want to mess you up more." "But-" she bit her lip, "I need to look presentable. Professional." Her hands smoothed over my shirt in that innocent way that drove me crazy. "You want them to take your wife seriously, don't you?" "Oh sweetheart," I chuckled darkly, "trust me, they'll take you very seriously. Especially when they see how thoroughly claimed you look. Seven floors to go..." "Dev Singh Rajwansh!" She pushed against my chest, trying to look stern. "This is completely unprofessional-" "Says the woman who's currently gripping my shirt like her life depends on it," My fingers tightened slightly in her hair, tilting her head back to expose her neck, smirking as she immediately loosened her fingers. "Five floors left, baby. Want to try scolding me again?" SAB YAHI PE JAAN LOGE KYA?..........

"No-please-don't do this!" Seraphina sobbed, her voice cracking as she clung to her eldest brother's wrist. "I-I'll be good. I'll do whatever you say, just don't-" A sharp crack echoed through the room as his palm struck her cheek, sending her crashing to the marble floor. Pain exploded across her skin, but it was nothing compared to the terror clawing at her chest. From above, his voice was cold. Unmoved. "You will marry him." She shook her head wildly, crawling backward until her spine hit the wall. "He's a monster," she whispered, her breath shuddering. "He's not human. Please, don't make me do this. I'll die." Her second brother crouched in front of her, grabbing her chin roughly, forcing her to look at him. His lips curled, eyes void of warmth. "Then die." Her breath hitched. "But you will die as his wife." The door behind them creaked open. Heavy footsteps. Her father stepped inside, his expression unreadable. "Lock her in this room," he ordered. "She will not step out until her wedding day." Sera thrashed as hands seized her, dragging her toward the massive iron doors. "No! Please-Father, please!" But he didn't even look at her. The last thing she saw before the door slammed shut was her brothers standing side by side, indifferent as she was thrown into a fate worse than death. Then darkness. And the only thing left was the suffocating truth. She was a sacrifice. A bride to the Sinister, a devil himself. #A STANDALONE BOOK

When tragedy takes away the only protector she had left, eighteen-year-old Evara is forced into the role of a sister, guardian, parent... all at once. With nothing but grief in her pocket and her little brother holding her hand, she runs to Jaipur-the city tied to her father's forgotten past and the place where her mother's story first began to fracture. It's supposed to be a fresh start. A quiet escape. A chance to rebuild what was broken. But some pasts don't stay buried. Evara has always known one dangerous truth: the name of the man who gave her life... and the reason she is never allowed to claim it. One choice, made years ago, erased her from his world completely. A choice that kept her safe-from a powerful family, and the family-from a truth that could shatter the fragile life they've built for themselves. Invisible. Untouchable. Unspoken. She was never meant to be found. But what Evara doesn't know is that maybe, she already was. Her biological father and his wife have spent years searching for the woman they lost-not to destroy her life, but to mend what was broken. To ask for forgiveness. To fix what guilt has never let them forget. And now, in the crowded lanes of Jaipur, where old memories bleed into new beginnings... fate doesn't just knock. It crashes in. Secrets resurface. Loyalties fracture. And Evara is pulled into a world she was never meant to enter-where every truth comes with a price, and every choice risks the only family she has left. Because sometimes, the people you're running from... are the same ones who've been running toward you all along. And in the end, Evara must decide- stay in the life that raised her... or step into the one that was written in her blood.
