This takes place after the events of the Beast AU. After Atsushi mostly recovers from his past trauma and Mori lets him leave the orphanage. He joins the detective agency and Akutagawa isn't happy about it at first. Things between the two are tense and awkward at best but they eventually learn to work together once Oda has them fight off the guild together. The guild still wants the magic book, but they can't let them get it or the world as they know it will cease to exist but there's also a new threat throwing a wrench in their plans. Atsushi and Akutagawa become closer, their relationship grows, but they cannot let the other members of their team know. The tension grows as Atsushi can't take it anymore. Has 18+ themes eventually, and depression themes. Characters are not mine.
