Going into the cave he found a portal and after an incident happened the portal goes haywire, sucking him in it and sending him to another world much different then his own where a silent war was happening, now he has to find a way to win the war and to get back home. Will he be able to do it, or will his spirit be broken in the face of absolute destruction? Dante and Vergil were stuck in the Underworld/Hell/Makai after destroying the Roots of the Qliphoth Tree, a demonic tree the Vergil or his demonic half Urizen summoned to gain the ultimate power by taking the blood of humans making a fruit of divine power. Eventually this ultimately came to and end then the two brothers were set straight by Nero, Vergil's son and they put their differences and rivarly aside to stop the tree for good. Now with the two sparda twins trapped in the underworld they are free to battle each other or the denizens of the underworld. Eventually they have gotten their fill and decided to leave with the help of Vergil's Yamato but this didn't go as planned as they were sent to a new universe entirely.
