Maki Katsuragi is a boy who appears cool and smug but in actuality is a timid scared boy who tries to avoid his abusive father.And Toma Shinjo a boy who loves soft tennis and is the boy's soft tennis club president meets Maki.Maki and Toma are friends, as well as partners on the court.But it didn't start out like that, Toma got Maki into the boy's soft tennis club(mind you agreeing to pay Maki for his use of labor).After this Toma found out that Maki's father, abuses Maki, and since then Toma helps him keep his father at bay.There closer then ever, so much so that the team is wondering if there relationship is a little more than just friends. What happens if Maki's father's abuse gets worse?

This was inspired by mybraingobrrr's story idea. There was only one chapter tho and I wanted to do my own take on the story because I absolutely adore this anime and this concept.
