Giving birth is not a crime-but society makes sure it feels like one the moment a woman delivers a daughter instead of a son.
The moment she gives birth to daughters instead of "at least one boy," her worth is dragged through the dirt and questioned, as if she alone is responsible for fate itself.
In such a society, a woman is reduced to a single role: to satisfy her husband and function like a machine meant only to produce children, preferably male heirs.
Love, respect, and dignity become conditional-tied not to who she is, but to what she can produce. And when her womb gives the "wrong" result, she is blamed, shamed, and broken piece by piece.
A girl is treated like a burden; no matter how strong, brilliant, or worthy she is, she is never enough simply because she is not born with XY chromosomes.
Meanwhile, a boy is glorified as the one destined to rule the world, to carry forward the family name, and to embody pride and power.
And so, a woman is punished for something that was never her fault-condemned not by biology, but by the cruelty of society.
