*WARNING: Written in 2008, some content may be offensive* Stasee is your typical shy, quiet teenage girl until the night her brother's best friend Damen Hurtz decides to finally acknowledge her existence. In a desperate attempt to gain his acceptance she allows him to take the one thing every girl values most...her virginity. After that night, Damen constantly begins accepting her while they're alone and then rejecting her in front of his peers. Stasee's frustration and confusion continues to grow, as do her feeling toward the man who continues to break her heart. He claims that he cares for her, but will his need for his peer's acceptance prevent him from ever treating Stasee the way he should? And if he finally realizes the stupidity of popularity over love, will Stasee still be waiting for him?

//‼️PEASE READ‼️// Just so everyone knows this is not my original work I put it on wattpad so it would be easier for some people to read. The original is on the website Archive Of Your Own. So please give the original artist credit. Thank you. Summary: "Have you ever heard about the origami hearts tradition in the hospital?" Taking the heart, the child excitedly inspected it, nodding in glee. "Yes! My mama told me that when someone leaves the hospital to go to heaven, we all fold a paper heart for them! Like this, like this!" "That's right," chuckled Soobin. "But do you know how it started? It started here, in this room. From a boy who used to fold a paper heart every day for his lost love, hoping each one he makes will take him closer to the day those eyes would open again." "Unfortunately for him, the day never came." In other words, a hopeless love story of two childhood best friends who didn't realise what it meant to have each other until it was too late; compiled of yearning, loss, forlorn hope, unrequited love, and every tragedy in between.

In the year 2175, a Hegemony science vessel was detached to an uninhabited exoplanet in orbit of star RN-06 in neutral space. What they awakened there became known to Terran and Grushan worlds as the Black Ship. This archive compiles firsthand and period accounts of the ensuing conflicts. It tells the stories of individuals and nations, of the end of empires and ancient conflict, and the dawning of a new age. The Terran Hegemony, the Grushan Federation, and the Novan Alliance have provided sources for our consideration. We write this account in memory of the millions who died in the conflict and in hopes that it will bring greater understanding between worlds. Jon Brain, Chief Archivist of the Interstellar Historical Commission [Work in progress, draft 1 is complete and I will be publishing draft 2 on Wattpad as I write it. I hope to publish once a week on Tuesday, maybe also Thursday if I feel good about the material. Any suggestion and support will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, the real jonbrain]

||2022 WATTYS WINNER|| A scholar boy who denies the existence of elemental magic. A hidden princess who can control all seven elements. A mystical quill capable of rewriting both of their destinies. In the realm of Rainier where magic should no longer exist, eighteen-year-old Sebastian d'Aximos, a nobody scholar from an insignificant fishing village, finds himself accused by the Salvera Crown for using forgotten elemental magic to murder his own mother. There exists one problem with the Crown's theory, however; magic resides only in the Scribal legends about the Authors of Old, a rare race of humans who controlled the seven elements by weaving elemental threads into storybooks called Monvertas. But the Monvertas are myths; they have never been real. Yet, when Sebastian's soul cries out to the hidden heir of Rainier's Crown, Astrid Salvera, his beliefs in logic and facts are challenged. Because Astrid controls the seven elements, and she and her mother have worked to release magic back to their kingdom since it had been stolen by the enemy lands of Soleita two decades previously. Together, Sebastian and Astrid must work to find a mystical, hidden artifact: the Black Quill. A tool used by the original Author to unlock the Monverta and release its magical secrets. A tool that could redeem the realms of their world and reinstate magic. Ancient myths, prophecies of saviours and villains, and deadly trials by elements awaken to meet both Sebastian and Astrid as they work to unveil the secrets hidden from Rainier and learn the dark truths of each other. **Book 2 OUT NOW!**
