{Original posted on my page} As the tale goes, a banquet was held for all the animals the god knew and loved dearly. He held each living creature close to his heart and his soul, but when the cat showed up, as he did the last couple of years, he felt like death was upon him, and this broke a piece of the god's heart. To this new threat of passing, he worried this lovely banquet would forever be forgotten with time. His anxiety grew, and within a moment's notice, he forced a certain soul to create an unbreakable bond for all of those involved. The curse was arranged, but he thought of it all as nothing but a blessing, something to be proud of. The god wished for their souls to all be reborn together, over again to keep up this banquet for all of eternity. Even then, his concerns didn't cease, so the extent of the arrangement was adjusted so that when a soul was reborn and brought back to life, it would change into its formal, animal, form when in contact with the opposite gender. This curse was pushed to one soul in particular because this soul helped the god the most.
