His first duty is send out invitations for all of the clan to let them know that there is a discussion Conference at NeverNight. During his time in NeverNight, he met two person, one person name is Wen Qing while the other person is Wen Ning. He let her family live in NeverNight since the place use to be their home. During the discussion Conference a certain Lan Wangji couldn't get his eye off of the person who is sitting in Wen Ruohan seats. Wei Ying caught the eye that is looking back at him, everything disappeared around them, only leave just the two of them.
