Usually, I don't make notes like this in my stories, but for those confused: this story is inspired by that one fanfic with the OC named Shiro (or however they spelled it). I didn't like the character or his position in the story. I never read past the first few lines, and the original seems to have been deleted. Most of what I know comes from a reaction fanfic called 'Lazy Masterpiece x Genius Reaction'.
