Oscar Piastri has always been easy to love. Quiet. Kind. Brilliant. The sort of person who remembers birthdays, explains assignments, and stays late to help everyone else, even when nobody asks. At university, surrounded by friends who have become family, Oscar should be happy. So why does he feel like he's taking up too much space? As the pressure of university mounts and old insecurities begin to feel louder than they used to, Oscar starts to disappear in ways no one quite notices. A missed coffee. An empty seat. A smile that doesn't reach his eyes. And by the time his friends realize something is wrong, it may already be too late. Because sometimes people don't leave all at once. Sometimes they leave a little at a time. And sometimes the hardest question isn't why someone left- It's who made them believe they had to.

When Oscar Piastri sculpts a man out of snow to save his grandmother's failing café, he never expects the impossible to happen. But the next morning, his sculpture is gone-replaced by Lando, a beautiful stranger who remembers only his name and the feeling of Oscar's hands shaping him into existence. As winter tightens its grip on their small town, Oscar and Lando must keep a dangerous secret: Lando may be made of snow, and warmth could destroy him. Between baking family recipes, helping the community, and navigating feelings neither of them planned for, Oscar is forced to confront a terrifying question- What happens when you fall in love with a miracle that might melt away? A soft, magical winter romance about hope, belonging, and loving something fragile anyway.

"Lando," Oscar interrupted softly. "Whatever Lance and I had, it was nothing compared to this." Lando looked at him, hope and uncertainty warring in his expression. "This?" Oscar gestured between them, at the space that felt charged with possibility. "This. You. Us. Whatever this is." Oscar Piastri has spent his entire life believing he was alone. Half bunny. Hidden tail. Enhanced senses. Heat cycles. A secret that could destroy everything if the wrong person ever found out. Formula 1 is the last place someone like him should exist. Until one morning, everything changes. His werewolf teammate has questions. His incubus friend already knows more than he should. An Astral, a Phoenix, a Storm Bringer-and suddenly the grid is filled with people hiding impossible truths behind race suits and cameras. As friendships deepen, instincts awaken, and fate begins weaving lives together in ways none of them expected, Oscar discovers that perhaps the greatest secret isn't that monsters exist... It's that none of them were ever monsters at all.

The season had officially ended, but so did my chances to see him up close. The paddock was our shield, the only place I could observe him, study his lines, and exist in his periphery without making it weird. But now, seeing him under the bright Abu Dhabi lights as the world champion, he had won my heart all over again. He had every right to party, to celebrate his achievements even in my absence, but it hurt watching him so carelessly living in the moment without a care in the world. It could have been me standing in his place. I could have enchanted him with my own charisma, captured his full attention by being a champion myself - but the world had other plans. Now, I was just the one left behind, forced to watch from the sidelines. I couldn't help but wonder with a sickening twist in my stomach: could this night be the last of us, or was it the terrifying beginning of something new?

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 ❗️ This novel contains themes that may be distressing to some readers, including drug use, alcoholism, mental health struggles, adult content, and broken family dynamics. Content warnings will be provided at the beginning of relevant chapters. However, reader discretion is advised, as it is ultimately your choice to continue reading 𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 For nearly two years, Lando Norris had run a luxury bar in the heart of the city - a place of music, laughter, and carefully poured distractions. Locals loved him, and his bar quickly became a refuge for those looking to unwind after long days. That stability shatters when Oscar Piastri opens a therapy clinic directly above the bar. Almost overnight, Lando begins losing his regulars - people who now choose healing over drinking. At the same time, Oscar watches his patients struggle, relapsing the moment they step outside and hear the pulse of music from downstairs. Each man becomes the other's problem, a constant reminder of everything they disagree on. They clash over principles, over responsibility, over what it means to help someone survive. Different mindsets. Different ways of coping. Neither willing to concede. Until a teenage girl named Eveline forces their paths to cross in ways neither of them can ignore. Bound by circumstance and an uneasy truce, Lando and Oscar are pushed into reluctant cooperation. And in the quiet moments between closing time and opening hours, they begin to see past assumptions - learning that care comes in many forms, and healing is rarely as simple as choosing the right door.

Lando Norris has his life mapped out - a stable job, a respectable engagement, a future everyone keeps telling him he should want. But lately, everything feels like it's closing in. The ring on his finger feels heavier by the day, the smiles around him tighter, the walls of his own choices drawing closer. Then Oscar walks into his life. The man he shouldn't have met. The mistake that wasn't supposed to follow him into daylight. Now, standing across from him in the same department, the feeling Lando tried to bury breathes again - calm, composed, and entirely out of reach. They're supposed to be colleagues. Professionals. But every argument, every shared glance, every late night spent working becomes a reminder of everything Lando's trying not to feel. And the more he tries to run from what's expected of him, the more he finds himself drawn toward the one person he shouldn't want.
