Her brothers best friend saves her, her nephew and her brothers wife. Thinking the city was going to be safe only to shocked when they bomb it and the dead take over. Now In a small group outside of the city at an old quarry trying to survive the best they can. She meets a lot of new people but one particular man catches her eye. He's rugged, muscular, tall, attractive, know how to survive. Only problem is he seems to hate her. He avoids her at all cost and when they do come in contact he's harsh with her. What they don't realise is they have more in common they they know. They fall for each other and hard but hate that they have those feels from the fear of rejection and loss.
