This book is a canvas of verses, where every verse is a brushstroke, made from the creator's lingering emotions. Some of her own and some from her dreamy imagination. Each stroke is a different color, portraying a different situation.π–£” π‘Ύπ’‰π’Šπ’π’† π’”π’π’Žπ’† 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒔 π’Žπ’‚π’š π’π’π’π’Œ π’”π’Šπ’Žπ’Šπ’π’‚π’“ 𝒂𝒕 π’‡π’Šπ’“π’”π’• π’ˆπ’π’‚π’π’„π’†, 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 π’Žπ’‚π’Œπ’† π’šπ’π’– π’‡π’π’“π’ˆπ’†π’• 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓-π’†π’π’…π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝒑𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒅.πŸ’„ 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓'𝒔 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆,✍️ π’Žπ’‚π’Œπ’Šπ’π’ˆ π’†π’—π’†π’“π’š π’ƒπ’“π’–π’”π’‰π’”π’•π’“π’π’Œπ’† 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 π’˜π’Šπ’•π’‰ π’†π’π’†π’ˆπ’‚π’π’„π’†.πŸ₯€π–£” Trust the process and you shall see, the beauty woven in this imagery.✯ Trust the process with all your heart, and you'll notice the real art. ❀ 𝑺𝒐 π’…π’Šπ’—π’† π’Šπ’ π’•π’‰π’Šπ’” π’˜π’π’“π’π’… 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆, π’˜π’‚π’π’•πŸ’« 𝒂𝒏𝒅 π’˜π’‰π’‚π’•π’π’π’•.✩ 𝑭𝒐𝒓 π’•π’‰π’Šπ’” π’Šπ’” 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 π’ˆπ’–π’Šπ’…π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒗𝒂𝒔,πŸ“œ 𝒃𝒖𝒕 π’šπ’π’– π’‘π’“π’†π’„π’Šπ’π’–π’”,✿︎ 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 π’‘π’π’Šπ’π’• 𝒐𝒇 π’…π’Šπ’”π’„π’–π’”π’”. ❀ ~ ✿ [ Rankings - #1 in Rhyme (Feb 2024) (6.03K ppl) #2 in Showerthoughts (17/2/24) #3 in Sadpoems (21/3/24) (16.2K ppl) #19 in Poetry (16/2/24) (332K ppl) #117 in Art (19/3/24) (110K ppl) ] ✿ This is my original work. lexicon [ˈlek.sΙͺ.kΙ™n] (noun) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. (a list of) all the words used in a particular language or subject, or a dictionary 2. old-fashioned a dictionary sensations [senˈseΙͺ.ΚƒΙ™n] (noun) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━1.the ability to feel something physically, especially by touching, or a physical feeling that results from this ability. 2.a general feeling caused by something that happens to you, especially a feeling that you cannot describe exactly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ What makes humans so special? How are we so different from other living beings existing on this planet? We all have different answers to this question. For me, it's feelings. These- wanted and unwanted, having power to kill and revive, shatter and heal, beautiful and ugly, destroying and creating-feelings are what we posses that makes us so unique and different. So here's my collection of poetry that revolves around these bittersweet part of our lives. All of them contain different emotions I was lucky enough to put into words, I'd love to share them with you and get a chance to explore your feelings on them! Make sure to check them out and I dearly hope there's a poetry here that clicks with you! Comments and reviews are highly appreciated :) [The cover does NOT belong to me, I took it from Pinterest so full credit to it's talented owner.] Lastly, enjoy reading <3

what drew your attention to this book? was it the delicate red rose on the cover? ... or was it its thorns? yes, the rose is daintily alluring, but you will only notice the thorns once you take a closer look. i like to imagine my poetry as this thorned rose, my carefully arranged words as its delicate petals: its beauty seemingly pleasing from afar. however, once you take a closer look, you will gradually see the thorns: a deeper and darker meaning disguised behind enriched metaphors. looking at the rose, you would also notice how it is hand drawn, denoting the fact that my poetry might not be perfect. it is intentionally written with some incorrect grammar (for instance, how almost all words are in lowercase) to give a more raw feel in the sense of how one may write down in a personal diary. the name "the rose comes with thorns" is not only an embodiment of my poetry writing style, but also the meaning behind it. just like how everything beautiful comes with its own flaws... ...the rose shall come with its own thorns. πŸ₯€THE ROSE COMES WITH THORNS a poetry book written by huma zafar. #1 in "poem" out of 206k stories (2/5/24) #18 in "poetry" out of 336k stories (1/6/24)
