***COMPLETED*** What happens when Wickham reveals his true wicked nature much earlier than in the original Pride and Prejudice story? Unlike in Jane Austen's original novel Mr Wickham decides that he will attend the ball at Netherfield Park. Over confident, and enjoying Darcy's unease at his presence, Wickham gets carried away with his drink. He takes his flirting with Elizabeth Bennet entirely too far and his actions have far reaching consequences, changing the normal course of our Pride and Prejudice story. As Elizabeth is forced to reassess her judgements of the two men from Derbyshire, will our couple still find their happily ever after? How far are Wickham, Miss Bingley and Lady Catherine willing to go to stop them? **Warning this story contains a scene involving assault**

Reading P&P, Mr Darcy's feelings seem rather acute, but do not get much attention. This story explores them from the moment just after his rejection, to beyond his actual marriage. The action follows P&P exactly, but some secondary characters, most notably Georgiana and Mrs Younge, push the boundaries of Miss Austen's description. The style of writing diverges from hers ever more.

Elizabeth Bennet lives with her mother, father, and sisters in the English countryside. As the eldest, she faces mounting pressure from her parents to marry. When the outspoken Elizabeth is introduced to the handsome and upper-class Mr. Darcy, sparks fly. Although there is obvious chemistry between the two, Darcy's overly reserved nature threatens the fledgling relationship. #72 on classic as of 6/21/2018 #12 on mr darcy as of 6/21/2018 #30 prideandprejudice as of 6/21/2018 #35 on janeausten as of 6/21/2018 #11 on elizabethbennet as of 6/21/2018

Aria, a 25-year-old high school English teacher, finds solace in the pages of books, with a particular fondness for Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Having lost her father at an early age, she took on the responsibility of supporting herself and her mother from a young age, leaving little time for personal pursuits. Despite her love for literature, Aria harbors skepticism about love, shaped by the lofty ideals depicted in the novels that captivate her. Find out what happened as she unravels the mysteries within Austen's masterpiece, she encounters challenges, perils, and love that reshape her connection to the beloved novel.

I have just finished reading Pride and Prejudice for the 100th time, and I really wanted to see how Elizabeth and Darcy handle their married life, so I decided to write my own sequel. This is just to satisfy my own wild side, I have never been to Great Britain (but I would love to!), and I know very little of the 19th century traditions. *I appreciate all the corrections I get on the culture/timeline/location/language/plotline dearly and would do my best to fix my mistakes in the story. I only request that you put a smiley face emoji at the end of a correction πŸ˜€. It is not a requirement, but it would be highly appreciated.
