However, Y/N and Momonga, one a powerful gunslinger and the other a renowned wizard and master of the dark guild Ainz Ooal Gown, choose to spend their last moments in the game as the servers begin to shut down. To their surprise, even after the clock strikes midnight, Y/N and Momonga remain fully conscious within their characters, and the non-player characters seem to have developed personalities of their own. Faced with this unprecedented situation, Y/N and Momonga command their loyal servants to help them investigate and establish control over this new world. They hope to discover what caused this strange phenomenon and whether there may be others trapped in the same fate.

Despite the game's end, Momonga and Celestia themselves are fully conscious, along with the NPCs who now exhibit distinct personalities. Momonga and Celestia enlists the help of their loyal allies to explore and seize control of this newfound world. As they delve into the unknown, guided by Momonga strategic mind and the enigmatic presence of his companion, Celestia, Together, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind this extraordinary phenomenon and discover if others share their extraordinary fate.

Yggdrasil, the biggest VRMMORPG alive is coming to an end. But you know this, it's why you're here. What you don't know is that while it shaped the gaming world, it had a great competitor. In the early 2000's Bandai Namco and Fromsoftware made the Darksouls games. These would come to define the word 'Difficult' for many players. And so the call for these games to come to VR grew and the wish of thousands was granted. Although it changed somewhat, the combat, lore, level system and mechanics stayed the same mostly, it became more of a MMO. But that game is coming to an end as well, many groups were made, many kingdoms rose and fell, but it's ending with many loyal players staying online one last time, killing, fighting, losing and praising the sun for just a few more hours. But we follow the story of one in particular. The last Lord, master of the four great souls, the only player to take the fire and keep it without death. He was on his own to grieve in the great tomb he made with his friends. Fortunately near the very end, one person he held most close to appeared to help ease his pain. One actually chose to stay with him to the very end, and together they awaited to be log out once the servers closed. Ready to return to the real world they were upset that they'll be forced to leave a home they actually loved. That is until time resumed after the shutdown... Realizing they were stuck as their avatars and the Great Tomb of Nazarick was transported to a new world, the two decided to do their best to bring growth to their home and find more of their dear friends. Together they will work to bring Nazarick to great heights of prosperity, protect their home and their friends' children, together they would rule the world as King and Queen of great power.

Until she hears about the fearsome skeleton Ainz Ooal Gown causing chaos in the middle of the continent. Allowing herself to have a bit of hope, she leaves her seaside home and starts the trek to Nazarick.
