In their senior year Izuku was severely injured in the war with Shigaraki and almost didn't make it. After recovering Bakugo immediately proposed realizing how much he truly loved Izuku. Like all relationships everything started off perfect. Then it all went wrong. Especially when Izuku started going back to work.
