The story is set in Malaka and the 'time travel' is a a major part of the plot. The second biggest element is 'a country'. The country in this novel is Malaysia, but the political parties, elections, situations, the debates etc can be applied to any country. The novel revolves around a political leader Fateh and a con artist Talia Murad. Over a period of twenty episodes, the reader learns about the characters, their lives, their pains and fears, their strenghts and skills. Readers also learn how they overcome the obstacles in life. The novel, for me, is not just a piece of fiction. It tells you, through a very gripping story, to become a strong person. It teaches us to have faith in destiny and the almighty. It teaches us to admit our mistakes and move on. It teaches us to believe in ourselves. Whatever we know, will work for us, even if it seems little and insignificant. It teaches us to repent our sins whenever we realize our mistakes. It teaches us that sticking to the righteous path is much easier than we think it to be. It teaches us about friendship. And, it is one hell of a love story.
