Max... has a lot of problems... and with Daniel always being there for him...he doesn't want him to feel overloaded. So. he just... deals them with himself only. But here comes Charles Leclerc. How is he supposed to deal with his own problems with Charles getting in the way? How is Charles going to try and convince Max that he is completely okay? WARNING: lots of self hate/Self-loath, panic attacks, and an eating disorder from Max Verstappen.

Formula 1 is a strange sport. It is adrenaline, speed and a small line between Winning and Catastrophic. And it also was lonely. Charles Leclerc does now that better than most of the drivers. He knows the Moments, where you're standing on the podium, everyone cheering for you and feeling like you're standing on top of the world. But he also knows the dark side after a race, the silence and feeling of emptiness. He lost too much to see formula one as only a sport. His Godfather Jules. His father. A good friends Anthoine. Sometimes he asks himself if he also hadn't lost himself troughout his life. But he learned to smile trough it, even when he felt like everything inside him was breaking. He felt like nobody did care anyway. So he acts like everything is fine. And then there was Max. Max Verstappen, who was his rival on track and something between rival and friendship of track. Somebody he doesn't understand. Somebody he couldn't let go off. But there is so much more. Something Charles couldn't name and Max don't want to acknowledge.

from enemies to friends...growing up together, racing against each other is what the relationship between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc defines. But the more time passes and the more they share a common dream the more their dynamics change. from a former though rivalry to respected competitors and friends was a long road for them to take. the story is filled with thoughts I would attribute to the two persons, without knowing anything from their personal and private life. It's just how I like to imagine reality works. Enjoy :) It also is my fist real story I write so let me know if there is anything I can approve.
