Nicholas and Sasha work for the FBI and can't seem to get along. Now to solve a case they have to pretend to be newlyweds in love, no matter their personal distaste. The danger rises as feelings are uncovered and truths are revealed. Can these two agents catch the bad guys and just maybe fall in love? Originally written in 2004.

I clutched my chest, barely able to handle it. I kept running, but when I knew I was far enough, I fell to my knees, still holding my chest. That's when I heard it. The sound that shouldn't even be audible was so loud in the still silence that it swayed the trees. But maybe that was just an illusion. Maybe only I could hear it. Then there’s Zoey who’s 15 and working in the hospital as a nurse to pay for her high school trip in a few months. Zoey’s patient? Dash. Can Zoey ever help Dash or is Dash going to get her fired also and die alone?
