The Orion's Factotum follows the story of a servant named Raina Toro who works in the city endlessly to supply her and her daughter with a decent life. The jobs she works are menial and pay little. Then, Raina hears of a position from a bookman friend of hers named Caster Veil. He speaks of a high turnover position in the prisons beneath the city acting as a Factotum to one of the city's most dangerous prisoners - Steele Veyne. This would be of little issue if her were like them; however, that is not the case. He is an Orion - a giant among men - and his crimes are severe. What will happen to the poor peasant mother who simply seeks a decent life for her and her child when she comes face to face with a giant?

Terrilyn Lun, daughter of Raina Toro, remembers the night her mother came home with the infamous Steele Veyne. Steele, an Orion and a giant in their land, lived for years as an innocent man imprisoned for the crimes committed by his son. Now that the issue has been remedied, Steele now lives alongside his friend, Raina, and little Terrilyn as a free man. Though Terrilyn is apprehensive of the giant, she slowly learns that there is more to him than meets the eye. This is the story of their bond, how their found family grows closer together, and how the love and dedication of one can influence the world.

Amanda is in the park one day after moving away from her ex-husband when she finds a small boy. This would be a simple problem to solve, but this little boy is quite literally the size of her hand and his parents are nowhere to be found. Unable to leave the boy behind, Amanda decides to take the boy in and take care of him while she tries to discover the mystery of who this little boy is. The boy, because of his size, presents a whole new set of challenges for the adoptive mother. ~~~~~^*^*^*^*^~~~~~ Parker knew he was different, but never truly understood why. He was unnaturally good at balancing. He had keen hearing and sight. His senses always felt heightened and he could predict when people were near.
