The 118 has been chosen to take on an intern. There's mixed feelings, but ultimately Bobby's word is final. In comes Cooper Reed, a sixteen year old trying to find his way. He's looking to get himself out of trouble once and for all. So when he stumbles upon the flyer about recruiting an intern at 118, well, he'd be stupid to ignore it. Can Cooper and the firefighters at the 118 become a team?
