"I have built dozens of holes in this plan," Loki hisses. "Find them." When Loki tries to sabotage his own plan, the only reasonable explanation Tony can think of is that he wants to go back to Asgard, and that alone is more than enough reason to keep him on Earth. Tony reluctantly agrees to keep Loki in Stark Tower just long enough for Thor to talk to his father about how to proceed. His visit ends up lasting much longer. Cover by Carry_On_Waywards

This was originally supposed to be mostly Loki series oneshots but it's now really just kinda everything Marvel, and the only reason I haven't changed the name is that I like the cover (but Loki really is in most of them). cover by the legend themself @cant-we-be-seventeen

Loki had committed treason on a level Asgard had never seen. He would not be welcome back to his home realm. He would remain at the mercy of those he tried to control: the humans, SHIELD, and, of course, HYDRA. By the time the Avengers come knocking HYDRA's door, Loki's long gone in every sense but the physical. Fortunately, even in his silent, fearful state, he's managed to make some friends. Wanda and Pietro won't let anyone hurt him. The Avengers are nothing but a threat, and Ultron makes them a promise that they'll be free of those so-called heroes soon enough. (Basically, it's an Age of Ultron au where Wanda and Pietro have adopted a very broken Loki and they're determined to keep him safe.)

Loki's been given a second chance, and he's not going to waste it. When He Who Remains offered Loki and Sylvie their supposed dream lives, they'd scoffed at the idea. Instead, they chose to insert themselves into the Sacred Timeline in their own way (with Mobius, too, of course). And that's how they ended up here in Midgard, face-to-face with the Avengers of this timeline -- and the timeline's Loki, too. After a hard-won invitation home, the Lokis, Sylvie, and Mobius have to adjust to the calm, peaceful life in Asgard, a stark difference from the chaos they've grown so used to. (And, of course, sometimes they opt to visit Midgard, because what Avengers fic is complete without some special appearances from the Avengers themselves?) Loki faked his death. Again. After his mother died, there was nothing to keep him in Asgard, so when Thor unknowingly gave him this chance, he took it without hesitation. Life on Midgard is lonely and mind-numbingly boring, but he would choose it every time over the alternatives: life imprisonment in the dungeon, or, worse, another visit to Thanos's Sanctuary. It's all going decently well until he runs into Clint Barton. (I'm too lazy to make a real cover don't mind me)

(This fic takes place during episode five of Loki) It didn't take long for Loki to realize that the Void is basically just a trash can full of the TVA's retired Lokis. It's a little harder to process that there's also a Variant Thor here -- especially because he seems to want his brother dead.
