Giyuu met kagutsuchi when he was found horribly injured, then kagutsuchi brought him towards his home and healed him and after some talking between the two, sparks just happened. Also giyuu and kagutsuchi are married, just wanna to point that out and kagutsuchi also knows Water breathing from giyuu along with two other breaths, first meaning Sun breathing as the oldest and another breath he came up with on his own. So in total he knows three breathing techines, and the kamados know about demons since giyuu told them once they met and gave them wisteria flowers for them to plant all over their house from every angle so that demons wouldn't enter, the entire village is covered by wisteria trees as well. So first alive kamado family for this story plot plus the father and kagutsuchi knows sword fighting obviously so that in case he ever comes in contact with a demon then he'll be prepared and at times he helps giyuu when he's sent out on missions also they made sure that giyuu's crow wouldn't expose kagutsuchi to the other hashiras and master.

Tomioka Giyuu had always felt empty. Well. Not always.. he used to be so happy and full of emotions. But of course. That changed. Ever since he lost his sister and his best friend, he felt nothing but emptiness. Not happiness, not joy. He could still feeling the lingering feeling of sadness and anxiety reeking off of him. He swore to himself he would never get close to anyone ever again. He didnt want to go through all of that again. He wouldn't of been able to handle it. This all changed when he met a certain someone. He felt a sense of Happiness around this person. He didnt feel so empty. Ignoring his promise completely he try to get closer to this someone, despite his terrible social anxiety and poor ability to speak to others confidently. Despite the other not showing interest, doesn't mean the aren't interested. The other person was starting to feel the same happiness rise in them. They werent known to show emotion. So they always acted like they hated everyone. What will happen when both of them admit their feelings to one another? Well, find out for yourself.

Knowing that having a demon for information and help, would be useful... Now Giyuu is even further away from his hopes of a peaceful life...... And he has to takle an every day life of not getting hurt or killed by the hashira....
