Tom and Lena were never supposed to interact - at least Lena was never aloud to.
The Kaulitz were everything the Beckers were not. Loud, messy, and something Lena always envied: happy.
In Lena's single-parented home, everything is pre-planned, organized and ready for her. Mrs Beckers constantly repeated to her daughter that the house with the messy front-yard next door was to avoid at all cost.
To Mrs Beckers disappointment, that only made Lena want to approach those mysterious looking boys even more.
