DJ Masque had become the popular DJ in New York City in mere weeks after getting discovered in the underground music scene where she played illegal raves in abandoned warehouses. Yeah, she was a girl, but no one cared. She became the most popular DJ and started getting invited to play the hottest clubs and even celebrity parties. And the thing that was unique about DJ Masque was her clothing, which was always completed with a black and purple sequined mask covering half of her face, which never revealed her true identity. Dani Sinclair was the unpopular girl, the geek if you want to call her that. With her dark brown hair that was always pulled back in a pony tail and her glasses, she was always someone for the popular people to pick on, even though she was rich and lived in a penthouse overlooking Central Park with her grandmother. And what geek doesn't have a crush on the most popular guy in school, who just happened to be the son of a millionaire banker and one of the hottest hip hop dancers in the city? So you might be wondering just what DJ Masque and Dani Sinclair have in common, huh? Well, the truth is...they're the same person. No one knew that, though. Well, not until one night when the truth accidentally came out and the mask came off...and true identity is revealed to none other than her secret crush.

L-O-V-E: something that only happens in movies, books, and other fiction. I live in the real world. Heck, I have never even said that word. Bad words, I tell you. * * * Cassandra Evans does not believe in "love." Because of this term, people end up unhappy. She is the epitome of brutal honesty; one of her primary proclamations is "Everyone deserves the truth." She is strictly against lying and liars. Enter our foreign exchange student, Julian Aylmer. He is a happy-go-lucky ball of sunshine. He doesn't know the existence of the term "hate." The boy with the poke-worthy dimples cannot stand seeing the sorrow on her face. He makes a bet to help her experience what she has been pushing away. What happens when these opposites meet? Julian is keen on making Cassie feel the love around her, while Cassie is trying to teach this foreigner to see the reality. It isn't about making her fall in love, but rather making her realize the existence of what he calls a "beautiful illusion." Can Julian really change her mind? Will his "dah-ling" actually give him a chance? Hate vs. Love Make your bets. _______________ Cover by Plurbit Promoted by TheDuffMovie Winner of Wattpad Spotlight Contest. "Tate Moore is fucking psychotic." He stared at me blankly, like he hadn't just insulted himself. He snapped his gum, as my mouth hung open. Then something completely unexpected happened. He plucked the gum from his mouth and stuck it on my nose, thumb pressing it onto my skin until in stayed. I blinked in shock as he ducked forward and pressed his lips to mine. The kiss was short and brief, and he pulled away with that same expressionless look. I could feel the cool air drying the gum on my sniffer as he said, "Now, Poppy Dawson is fucking crazy, too."
