Scaramouche, currently the Raiden Shogun, after the fallout with the Kaedehara Clan, was cursed by Ei to have an unquenchable thirst for blood. Thanks to this, he is rumored to be an evil tyrant that has lost his mind for the Fatui to control like a puppet. When the last Kaedehara survivor enters his palace secretly as a concubine, with full intentions of revenge, he ends up discovering the true nature of this supposedly wicked overlord.
