Not Enough Time In The World
RaiofMoonlight
When Aurora moves to the small city of Boston after her mom's remarriage, she hopes for a fresh start. But at Wilson High, being the new girl isn't easy-especially when cliques are tight and reputations mean everything. Desperate to fit in, she sets her sights on the cheer team, believing it's her ticket to popularity.
Enter Abraham-popular, charming, and completely out of her league. When an unexpected deal forces them into a fake relationship, Aurora thinks she's finally cracked the high school code. But as lines blur between what's real and what's just for show, she starts to wonder... is faking it the only way to belong, or is there something real worth fighting for?
Aurora leaned against the bleachers, arms crossed tightly, her gaze sharp as she studied Abraham. He stood in front of her, hands stuffed in his jacket pockets, his usual confidence slightly dimmed by the weight of what he was asking.
"So let me get this straight," she said, tilting her head, her voice laced with skepticism. "You want me to pretend to be your girlfriend so your ex can see you've 'moved on'? That's the plan?"
Abraham exhaled, dragging a hand through his already-messy brown hair. "Yeah... Look, I know it sounds ridiculous, but she won't leave me alone. She still thinks there's something between us, and I just need her to get the hint." His light blue eyes flickered to hers, unreadable. "And you'd benefit too. People would actually notice you. Make things a little easier for you here."
